JEM resin was developed by market leaders Prysmian to meet the growing concerns regarding exposure to isocyanates in the workplace.  

JEM resin is a non-isocyanate system with all the technical performance characteristics of conventional resins but with several added features and benefits.

• Designed for cable joint encapsulation
• Supplied in clear pouches providing visibility during mixing
• Non-hazardous (non- irritant, non-sensitising, non-flammable)
• Low viscosity (very searching, no voids)
• East mixing at low ambient temperatures
• Can cure under water 
• Independent testing has shown that no hazard labelling is required
• The resin consists of 2 parts: acrylic based resin & hardener
• Excellent adhesion to products XLPE, PVC, Lead etc
