3M™ Constant Force Spring is a solderless connection, making it ideal for use on lead and aluminium cable sheaths, cable screening tapes or wires and steel or aluminium armor wires.

3M™ Constant Force Springs are a range of solderless connections for use on lead, or aluminium cable sheaths, to connect cable screen, or armour within a joint kit, and for use in connecting the copper screen to earth for medium voltage terminations. The products are made from Stainless Steel Type 301/302, and are compatible with all metallic screen and armour types.

• 3M™ Constant Force Spring is designed for earthing or grounding applications. The spring applies a uniform radial pressure onto the cable when it is rolled onto the cable core or outside diameter.
