World Suicide Prevention Day 2026

JT News | 10th September, 2026

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, regardless of their role, background or circumstances. That's why it's so important that we continue to create environments, at work and at home, where people feel able to speak openly and seek support when they need it. This year's message is simple: Check in. Listen. Encourage. Support. We're proud to recognise the vital work of Andy's Man Club, whose peer-to-peer support groups help thousands of men across the UK remember that #ItsOkayToTalk. We're also highlighting Samaritans, who provide free, confidential support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for anyone who is struggling or concerned about someone else.

Together, let's continue to break the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide and remind people that help is available and no one has to face difficult times alone.

A conversation could change, or even save, a life.
