TE Connectivity (TE) Insulated Piercing Connectors – P3X Series

Designed for insulated overhead lines and Low Voltage Aerial Bundled Conductor (LV ABC) lines, main to main connection.

TE Connectivity (TE) Insulated Piercing Connectors P3X/P4X are engineered for ease of installation and deliver robust mechanical, electrical, and environmental performance, making them suitable for terminating aluminium or copper stranded conductors.

Tin-plated copper blades are embedded in moulded plastic and surrounded by a sealing compound help establish electrical contact in low-voltage overhead distribution networks. A torque control nut brings the connector halves together and is designed to shear once the teeth have pierced the insulation and contact has been made with the conductor strands. Reuse of the connector after removal is not recommended.
