The programme integrated detailed theoretical frameworks with hands-on High Voltage installation practices, focusing on critical accessory installation techniques and interface control for 52kV and 66kV systems.

Training scope included:

• 52kV Termination Systems - Installation and positioning of termination skirts to ensure optimal creepage distance and environmental protection - Assembly and installation of earth leakage collectors and roll springs for effective stress control and shielding continuity
• 66kV Transition Joint Installation - Preparation and installation of braid connections onto paper-insulated lead sheath (PILC) cables, ensuring continuity and mechanical integrity - Application of insulating and conductive sleeves to manage electrical stress distribution at the interface -Outer sealing sleeve installation to provide environmental sealing and long-term ingress protection
