Fryolux Solder Paint T1333
A high‑performance formulation combining finely powdered solder with a zinc‑chloride activated flux to deliver a smooth, creamy consistency ideal for pre‑tinning, solder coating, and a wide range of metal fabrication applications.
Engineered for superior stability, this advanced solder paint keeps the heavy solder particles suspended to minimise metal powder settlement—an essential feature that enhances ease of use, application consistency, and long‑term shelf life.
Even if natural settling occurs over time, Fryolux Solder Paint T1333 can be quickly restored to optimal condition with light stirring, making it a reliable and user‑friendly solution for professionals working in electrical assembly, metal joining, circuit board preparation, and maintenance operations. Its dependable performance, reworkability, and strong metallurgical bonding make it a popular choice across industries needing clean, efficient, and durable soldering results.
Key product benefits:
- High activity flux
- Improved shelf life
- Easy to apply
- Paint can be easily re-stirred
- Leaded solder paint
- Choice of sizes available (see below)
For tinning the article is brushed or sprayed with Fryolux and heated until the solder melts to form an adherent coating. For soldering, the joint members should be coated before assembly, thus correctly locating the solder in the joint. To complete the joint, heat is applied until sweating occurs. The solder paint should be applied to the metal surfaces to be tinned or sweat soldered in the cold state. As with other zinc chloride based fluxes, the residues can be corrosive and in most applications it is appropriate to wash the tinned area to remove these residues.
